Service Description
Gardening teaches us to plan, to be responsible, learn time management, commitment, teamwork, resilience, and patience. It is a place of wonder and everyday miracles. A testimony of the love of our Creator for us, His Perfect design. In the 6 sessions of Summer Gardening, Aug 15 - Sep 01, students will learn: Water colour painting sessions of all the different plants we planted in spring (Nasturtium leaves and flowers, squash leaves and flowers, hibiscus flower) - teaching them the skill of identifying plants through their leaves. One field trip to sunflower meadow Foraging raspberries Flower anatomy Learning types and kinds of roots Identifying pests and IPM Making compost
Cancellation Policy
Price listed per session = price per season. Price includes up to 2 children with caregiver. Program begins Aug 15 for Summer and takes place twice a week on Sundays and Thursdays. There is a discounted coupon code sent to all Spring participants to enroll for summer. There will be one field trip to a secret raspberry and sunflower garden in Scarborough.
